To gain the trust of our emerging community you have to be willing to reach them by knowing their world.
As a mentor, you need to be a role model for those who look to follow your footsteps.
Support – Be committed to the cause. Be present and show up. Your mentee needs to know you are unconditionally there for them.
Help aspiring and emerging creators to visualize their future, obtain their goals, and push themselves further than they ever thought was possible.
Now accepting applications until September 30.
The program will commence during our Celebrate Hmong art & media festival in a 3-day long event (December 27 – 29) geared towards building report and engaging in real-life situations to build solutions. There will be prizes based off of solutions, so building a winning team is important! Itinerary to follow, but trust us! It’ll be fun, rewarding, and life-changing!
Thereafter, the RISE Mentorship program requests a minimum of 2-hour commitment monthly to continue to engage and focus on career growth and exploration as well as discovery to really hone into the uniqueness of each individual.
With our application process, we ensure that each mentor and mentee are as closely aligned in expectations and level of enthusiasm.
We facilitate twice-monthly conversation starters to encourage personal and professional growth.
To kick-off the mentorship program, we have a 3-day event which will team up mentors, mentees, and others from the community to build impactful solutions.
